Chef Adam is stepping it up in the kitchen! He’s got some amazing ideas for new menu items – but we want our campers’ input. Share this survey with your campers and have them vote for their faves. SPOILER ALERT!!!! Chef Adam is debuting “Chef-Days” at Wahanowin this summer. It’s Gourmet Wednesday…with a twist. Stay tuned for more details.

New year, more new improvements to camp facilities and operations. If you thought last year’s tennis and pickleball courts were awesome, just wait until you see what we have launching this summer!
More Docks are on their way!
Waterfront is going to rock! Sail, fish and swim will all have new docks in 2024. That’s an entirely new waterfront from swim to ski!
New Main Camp Cabins!
Plans are underway to re-build all the cabins in Main Camp. 2 washrooms, 2 showers, TONS of windows and even more shelving space for our younger campers!
Amazing Ski and Wake Boats
The Wahano-fleet is FIRE! Our classic JCraft ski boats have been updated with new fiberglass, paint and gear cases. And The Nautique is getting completely reupholstered for comfort and style!
Gators and Golf Carts…Oh My!
In the pursuit of being a ‘car free’ camp, we have three new John Deere Gators and two new Golf Carts arriving this summer.
New Gym Facility
Staff have told us how important it is for them be able to keep up with their physical fitness while at camp. Our new gym facility includes cushioned flooring, mirrors, ventilation and brand new equipment.
Come Sail Away
Our sail fleet has grown with the addition of a new Hobie, giving campers more opportunities to learn how to skipper a sailboat and ‘go about.’
Health Centre Upgrades
A vital centre of wellness at camp, the Health Centre is getting roof upgrades. Better building, same incredible care.
The Princess is Back
Hands down the most fun cabin activity on a perfect summer day! Cruising Couchiching and swimming off the boat will definitely be a highlight of summer 2024!
The Real Slim Shady…Shaggy’s Shade…And?
Nothing better than cooling off from the heat in one of our shaded ranchos. They are so popular, we are adding another! Got a great idea for a name? We want to know!

Camper Care Surveys
What’s the meaningful difference at Wahanowin? We know our kids. Their likes and dislikes, what makes them happy or sad and what matters to them most. This is their place. And we want to make sure that every single day is epic. We are introducing weekly camper surveys, so kids can tell us, from their perspectives, in their own words, what they’re loving at camp and what could make their individual experiences even better!
