How does laundry work?
Each camper gets an individual bag for their laundry. It is sent out once per week. Clothing, bedding and towels get washed and folded and returned the next day in the same bag, so clean laundry can be easily organized and put away.
How is the food?
Food is a big deal at Wahanowin. We have a strong culinary culture at camp, dating back to Bubbie Nash’s famous recipes. Chef Adam keeps us fed with delicious and nutritious meals that cater to all dietary needs. Learn more about our food program here.
What happens at camp on rainy days?
Rain never stops us! We take advantage of cozier days at camp with rainy day programs, mud soccer and indoor cabin programming in the event of extreme weather.
Are there opportunities for campers to spend extra time at an activity they love?
Yes. Several times throughout the week, campers have free periods when they can attend their favourite activities outside of their regularly scheduled periods with their cabins.
When do campers get free time?
Campers do get scheduled free time during the day including rest hour, after lunch, general swim, before dinner and free play after dinner.
