Many of our younger staff members grew up at Wahanowin, go through our Counsellor in Training (CIT) program and understand the camper experience from having lived it themselves. We also partner with an agency that recruits people who would be a great fit for camp. Once we screen those candidates, our leadership team interviews them to determine if their skills and personalities match our staff culture. Many of our international staff hear about Wahanowin through friends who are returning staff.
