Every person that works at Wahanowin loves camp. It’s a prerequisite. They recognize the important role they play in making sure kids have the best summer ever.
Our counsellors and specialists come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Many grew up at Wahanowin from the time they were young campers. The WAHA vibe is part of their DNA.
We also have a large group of international staff who work in our spring outdoor education program and stay through Wahanowin and our fall music camp and education programs. They bring a unique energy and perspective to the Wahanowin experience.

Counsellors
ExploreFrom wakeup to bedtime, you’ll be with your campers and co-staff, supervising routine, participating in activities and creating experiences that make camp great for each and every camper.
Specialists
ExploreSpend your summer at camp teaching campers new skills, introducing them to new passions or helping them build proficiency in an activity, sport or discipline they already love.
international Staff
ExploreHave an authentic Canadian camp experience living and working in nature, on the shores of one of Ontario’s most beautiful lakes. You’ll become part of a close, bonded staff group that spends Spring, Summer and Fall working with kids and changing their lives.
Support Staff
ExploreOur maintenance, kitchen, pantry and housekeeping crews are the backbone of camp and keep us operating safely and efficiently.
