Get ready for the best
summer ever!
Eagles is an awesome unit! It may be your first summer at camp (YAY!), or maybe you were here for a year or two as a BB/Bear. That’s what makes Eagles so special. Everyone has something incredible to share and learn from each other. Want to know what it’s like to be an Eagle at Camp Wahanowin? Check out the photos, videos and camper stories here.
You’re going to have the chance to do so many great activities (we have more than 25 to choose from!) and learn so many new things. First time ever trying skiing or want to move off the boom? Fly on the trapeze or finally let your hands go? Learn pickleball or make the intercamp baseball team? Eagle campers get to have a lot of “firsts” (if you’re new to camp) and build on what they learned the summer before (if you’re graduating from BB/Bears).
Your cabin is in main camp, really close to the dining hall (where we eat) and office (the hub of camp). You’ll have counsellors who live in your cabin, take you to activities and help you throughout the day. Wahanowin is so amazing. You’re going to love it here, and we can’t wait to watch you shine!

1 for 3
There is 1 staff member for every 3 Eagle campers, making sure there is always focused individual attention and someone there to help throughout the day from wakeup to bedtime.
WAHA or Nowin?
New Eagle campers get placed on their Olympiad team (if there are older siblings at camp, the younger ones are on the same team automatically), which will be their team for as long as they are a camper at Wahanowin.
LTP Buddy
This program pairs our youngest campers with our oldest campers. Eagles get to hang out with their LTP buddy throughout the summer, learn from them and form special bonds with older, experienced campers.
Boo!
Wahanoween is one of the special programs tailored to Eagle campers, along with others including Midnight Madness and Carnival.
