Lake Couchiching means the “lake of many winds” and is an ideal lake for sailing. Hunters and Hobe Cats are all the rave as we set sail on fun, excitement and skill development. Campers learn the parts of the boat, how to rig, points of sail and of course have the opportunity to get out on the lake and practice their skills. You’ll know your child is a sailor when they return home after camp with their arm full of rope bracelets having achieved several sailing levels. Sailing is a scheduled cabin activity but it is also open every day for General Swim. So “come about” the sail docks and come aboard for lots of fun, excitement and high sea adventure.
