Dear Wahanowin families and friends,
Camp has gotten off to a Wahanowicked start. Tons of excitement, amazing energy, fabulous activities, incredible enthusiasm and 100% participation. And to top it all off the weather has been absolutely perfect. It’s hard to believe how great things are, but, maybe not, at Camp Believe It! I am particularly thrilled that all our Wahanowin families and friends can literally experience the summer along with us on our brand new cutting edge website by viewing daily pictures and staying up to date on Waha TV. This revolutionary and exclusive new feature lets you follow along at home and see exactly what goes on here at camp. Typically, during the summer, I don’t spend a lot of time on our website because I am living it everyday, but this year, like all of you, I am checking it 2 or 3 times a day to see the latest updates. I’m probably reading this blog right now (even though I just wrote it). In any event, we would appreciate your feedback on our new site and all the latest features on it. As we all know, the summer moves very quickly with so many action packed programs. The LTP unit is currently on their hiking trip, the Senior unit is working on their play to be performed Saturday night, the BB unit goes on their unit overnight tonight (Monday), we had a great Canada day celebration on Friday, we are enjoying our 4th of July party today and the days ahead are jammed with fun and excitement. The P.G.s head out on a canoe trip Wednesday, the first intercamp sports day of the summer happens Thursday, the BB’s and L.T.P. host the first camper service on Friday, the Seniors open the theatre season on Saturday and the first BOB camp trip from Green Acres Day Camp arrives on Sunday. Plus the daily wonders of Wahanowin that will all be captured with pictures, videos and blog updates on a daily basis. I guess we picked the appropriate theme this summer as the amazing and unbelievable is happening all the time at “Camp Believe It!” Stay tuned……………
